Jim

Jim Brewer is the President of the Magic Sweep Corporation. Prior to becoming a chimney sweep Jim was a professional firefighter for the cities of Chesapeake (approximately five years) and Virginia Beach (one year). Jim has been active in the National Chimney Sweep Guild since 1982 and has held many positions there including Director, Vice-President and President. Currently, Jim serves the NCSG as Chairman of the Codes & Standards Committee.  Jim is also a Master Instructor for the Chimney Safety Institute of America, and a member of the CSIA Board of Directors.  Locally, Jim is a member of the Qualified Gas Contractors Association and serves on the QGC Dealer Council.

Jim is a CSIA Certified Chimney Sweep, a CSIA Certified Dryer Exhaust Technician ,a NADCA Certified Air System Cleaning Specialist and is also certified by the Commonwealth of Virginia as a HVAC Master.
